About Our Bed & Breakfast

    In the old days, local residents put their cows to pasture on Listening Hill.  Each cow had a different bell so their owners knew where they were.  Our bed and breakfast now sits where those cows used to roam and thus, the origin of Listening Hill B & B.

    Your home away from home is tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. Delicious full breakfast, fresh muffins, home-made bread and jams and evening snacks are just some of our specialties.

    Our Four Star accommodations offer an open living/dining room graced with a Fireplace, Cable TV, DVD/VCR/CD and guitars. Laundry services are available on premises. Outside for your enjoyment there are two large decks complete with  plenty of patio furniture for your relaxation and a BBQ for the outdoor cook. Or come sit enjoy our fire pit area where you can enjoy the company of friends and good music or enjoy the stars and wholesome evening air. Our backyard is a playground for blue jays, finches, morning doves, woodpeckers, and squirrels.   We want your stay to be a pleasant one, so we will go out of our way to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.

Take in the Sites

    We are ideally located at the entrance to Marystown. Take in the local shopping and business districts or enjoy a good meal at one of the local restaurants.  For leisure activities you can enjoy sea kayaking, swimming, tennis or enjoy the beautiful walking trails in and around the town. Take in the breathtaking views of the ocean and the local scenery or relax with a quiet walk along the seashore.

   If golfing or the beach is your forte, we are just twenty minutes from Grande Meadows Golf Course or Golden Sands Resort.  A 50 minute drive takes you to Fortune the doorstep to the historic French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon where you can experience a taste of France.  You can use our B & B as a base from which to explore the many museums, activities and hospitality of the Burin Peninsula.
