    In the old days, local residents put their cows to pasture on Listening Hill.  Each cow had a different bell therefore the owner knew where the animal was.  Our bed and breakfast sits where those cows used to roam and thus, the origin of Listening Hill B & B.

    Your home away from home is tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences.  It has just recently undergone major renovations and is now a Four Star accommodation. Delicious full breakfast, fresh muffins, home-made bread and jams and evening snacks are just some of our specialties.

    For your use there is an open living/dining room graced with a Fireplace, Cable TV, DVD/VCR/CD and guitars. Laundry services are available on premises. Outside for your enjoyment is a huge deck complete with BBQ and plenty of patio furniture for your relaxation. Our backyard is a playground for blue jays, finches, morning doves, woodpeckers, and squirrels. Just off the deck is a fire pit where you can sit and enjoy the stars and wholesome evening air.  We want your stay to be a pleasant one, so we will go out of our way to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.

    We are ideally located at the entrance to Marystown and close to all amenities. Just a five minute drive will take you to two malls and the business district.  We border the recreational areas of town where you can enjoy sea kayaking, swimming, tennis softball and soccer.  There are beautiful walking trails just moments away.  A walk along the seashore is easily included in your day.

   A 50 minute drive and you are at the doorstep to the historic French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon where you can experience a part of France.

  If golfing or the beach is your forte, we are just twenty minutes from Grande Meadows Golf Course or Golden Sands Resort.  You can use our B & B as a base from which to explore the many museums, activities and hospitality of the Burin Peninsula. 

    Our bed and breakfast is open all year round and our rates are $69.00 to $99.00 plus HST. Our Cancellation Policy is 48 hours notice. Children are most welcome, provided they are accompanied by an adult. We are sorry, but we do not permit smoking or pets on premises.  Payment is accepted by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Travelers Cheque, or Cash.
